Murilo Benn (born 13 July 1971) is a Brazilian actor.

He is perhaps best known for his performances in the telenovelas: O Clone, América, A Favorita, and Avenida Brasil.

He began his career in the early 1990s in Fera Ferida, in a recurring role portraying Fabrcio.

Benico's biggest breakthrough role came in the critically acclaimed telenovela O Clone, broadcasting between 2001 and 2002, earning international attention for her then, co-star Giovanna Antonelli, and show's producer Glória Perez. Since then, Benico has received critical acclaim for his work in a variety of television and film genres.

Chocolate com Pimenta (2004), a Walca novela created by Walcyr Carrasco, América (2005), Ti Ti Ti Ti Ti, the technology themed telenovela Geraço Brasil (2014), are among Benico's subsequent television series. He has been nominated for the Prêmio Arte Qualidade Brasil, Troféu Imprensa, Prêmo Extra de Televiso, and Prêmio Quem de Televiso awards.

Personal life

Ben cio was born in Niteroi. As a youth, he loved to surf on the beaches of Rio and Niterói, but he stopped working as an actor. Charlie Chaplin is credited with assisting him as a young boy to be an actor, according to him. Miguel de Cervantes is his favorite author. Despite having to become a professional, he said as a youth he loved smoking marijuana with all of his family and never saw anything wrong with it. He began smoking cigarettes at the age of 26, and after more than ten years of smoking, he stopped the habit. He began dating actress Alessandra Negrini in 1996. They moved in together and had a son, actor Antônio Bencio, who was born in the same year. The marriage ended in 1999 due to continuing inconsistencies, and before the child turned one year old, it was decided.

He met Carolina Ferraz in the telenovela Por Amor in 1997, and the two became friends. Ferraz was married at the time they met, but she and Ferraz began dating in 1999. They were married for many years, but the friendship came to an end in 2001 when Carolina broke up with him due to Benicio's overt jealousy. Giovanna Antonelli met him in 2001, the same year as 2001. They began dating in 2002 and then a few months later, they were living together. They separated for a few months in 2004, but they reconciled and had Pietro, a 2005 boy.
