She was born in Egypt to Austrian father and Egyptian mother. Her father died when she was 12 years old. She and her mother died in Egypt, but she retained Austrian citizenship. She received a degree in German-Arabic translations from Ain Shams University. She began her career as a host of TV Children Shows. In 2001, she appeared in Lucky guys' series, then she appeared in the TV series The Imperator with Hussein Fahmi and Ilham Chahine, and in A queen in exile in 2010.
