Molly McCann, a UFC fighter, sends Anthony Joshua an alert when she predicts what his 'kryptonite' could be against Francis Ngannou

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 8, 2024
Anthony Joshua is expected to come unstuck against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on Friday night, according to Molly McCann, if the former UFC champion uses his strength against the British fighter. With the Cameroonian-French MMA fighter returning from battle after starting WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in October, the two are due to meet in a massive clash in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Ngannou is widely regarded as one of the world's most feared players, with UFC president Dana White once referring to one of his punches as 'being equal to being struck by a Ford Escort going at full throttle.'

Molly McCann won in the first round over Diana Belbita on Saturday night, putting her at a pivotal point in her UFC career. McCann debuted in the 115lbs weight class and had a point to prove in the Octagon after suffering back-to-back submission losses in the UFC. McCann appeared energized and swarmed her opponent with a series of punches right away.

In a rematch against Diana Belbita on Saturday night, Molly McCann weighs in for her UFC strawweight debut tipping the scales at 116 pounds

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 2, 2024
Molly McCann has shed weight in anticipation of her strawweight debut on Saturday night. Meatball has competed at flyweight since her collegiate debut in 2015, but the UFC has had to cut her weight to 115 pounds after back-to-back losses. McCann dropped the scales at 116 pounds, the maximum for a non-title fight in the weight class.

To my people, please watch, please repost, please share! The events of the past few days have been shocking. Knife & gun crime has to stop. Have you seen the Knife Angel? It’s a statue made from over 100,000 seized knives. That’s right. Knives - over a 100,000 of them - and every one of them was used or was going to be used to stab someone. This is crazy. What have we done to our kids that has forced them onto this path of violence? Too many young people with no jobs, no prospects, no self respect and … guess what? For many of them, no one cares. They are the people that are most likely to join gangs, get into trouble, get into violent crime and make a career of it. They are the people most likely to be victims of violent crime. So are these kids the problem? No! They are the solution In Liverpool a few of us have got together and started Weapons Down Gloves Up. This is not another of those ‘raise awareness’ and ‘pat yourself on the back’ things. You know, get some youngsters in for a few weeks, tick some boxes and then after building up their hopes of a real future dump them back on the streets again. This is about giving young people a real chance to get off that path. We are talking role models, self-respect, community, training and yes, real jobs. We can’t abandon the kids - they deserve so much more than that. Come on, it's our job to give them a leg up so they have the chance of these opportunities. They are the solution If we work together and can save just one life from violent crime, it will be worth it! Visit: www.weaponsdownglovesup.co.uk
