Mitchell Robinson's high school coach revealed he is living in Knicks center as he told a touching tale on Thursday night. Butch Stockton, a former footballer at Chalmette High School in Louisiana, was on hand when his former player faced the Pistons at Madison Square Garden. Robinson, who lost his wife Dawn to cancer over the summer, told him that he should remain with him to get his'mind back to normal.'

Immanuel Quickley scored 22 points off the bench to lead six players in double figures for the New York Knicks, who never trailed as they extended NBA's longest active winning streak by defeating the Golden State Warriors 132-94 on Tuesday. Jalen Brunson had 21 points and Julius Randle (15 points, 12 rebounds) had a double-double for the Knicks, who have won eight straight games since a nine-game streak dating back to April 9-24, 2021. Quentin Grimes scored 19 points, RJ Barrett had 18 points, and reserve Miles McBride scored ten points for the Knicks, who defeated the Warriors in New York for the first time since Feb. 27, 2013. Mitchell Robinson (nine points, ten rebounds) just missed a double-double.
