Early life

Born Oluremi Fela James, she was raised by a mother active in Scientology. Faust talked about her mother's abandonment of the church for the love of the faith in a sit-down special with Egypt Sherrod in 2014. "They took me out at 13," she said of the church. I was actually a freeloader because I ate their food and slept there, but I wasn't really working for them," they said. maximo: Faust didn't know her biological father until she was sixteen years old. In fact, her birth was caused by an affair; Faust grew up feeling that another man was her birth father. Since having a close friendship with her biological father, she'll continue to take his biological father's last name. In 2014, her father died after a brief absence.
