Michael DeLuise was born in Los Angeles, California, the second son of actor and comedian Dom DeLuise and actress Carol Arthur, and the brother of actor, writer, director Peter DeLuise and actor David DeLuise.

Career

In 1979 comedy Hot Stuff, DeLuise made his film debut opposite his father.

Michael DeLuise made his first big appearance on Fox TV's 21 Jump Street in 1990. Officer Joey Penhall, Peter DeLuise's younger brother, was in charge of his brother Doug Penhall's career. Michael and Peter were on SeaQuest DSV, where Michael played Tony Piccolo from 1994 to 1996. He appeared on TJ on the TV show Gilmore Girls and as Andy Sipowicz's older brother on the TV series NYPD Blue. He has appeared on CSI: New York, Lost, and Stargate SG-1.

In Wayne's World, Alan was one of Wayne's headbangers. In Encino Man, Matt, the school bully and the primary villain, appeared.
