Mia Sarapochiello (born June 19, 1967), also known as Mia Sara, is an American actress.

She is best known for her role as Sloane Peterson in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) and Timecop (1994).

Early life

Sara was born Mia Sarapochiello in Brooklyn Heights, New York. Jerome Sarapochiello, a photographer and artist, is the granddaughter of Diana, a stylist and photographer, and an illustrator. She was born into the Roman Catholic faith and is of Italian descent. She attended St. Ann's School in Brooklyn, New York.

Personal life

Sara Connery, Sean Connery's nephew, married Sara Connery, who appeared in Bullet to Beijing in March 1996. They had a son, Dashiell Quinn Connery, in June 1997. In 2002, the couple wed in a divorce.

Sara appeared in Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story, directed by Brian Henson, the eldest son of Muppets creator Jim Henson. Amelia Jane Henson was their daughter when they were born in 2005. Sara and Henson married in 2010.
