Maureen Reagan Life

Maureen Elizabeth Reagan (January 4, 1941 – August 8, 2001) was an American political activist, and the first child of US President Ronald Reagan and his first wife, actress Jane Wyman, was born in 1941.

Michael Reagan and her half-siblings Patti Davis and Ron Reagan, both from her father's second marriage (to Nancy Davis).

Early life

Reagan was born in Los Angeles, where she was raised, on January 4, 1941. She graduated from Marymount Secondary School in Tarrytown, New York, in 1958, and briefly attended Marymount University in Virginia. In 1959, she worked for Walker & Dunlop and competed in the Miss Washington tournament.

Christine, her mother's second child, died shortly after birth.

Reagan began acting in her youth, appearing in films such as Kissin' Cousins (1964), in which she appeared alongside Elvis Presley.

Personal life

Maureen's by-then divorced parents became worried about her in 1960. Ronald Reagan pleaded with the FBI, a former communist informant, to request that the department look into her marital affairs. The department did so on condition that the FBI not be cited as a source, and that she was living with an older, married man who was a police officer.

Maureen Reagan was married three times:
