Mark Sanford, 63, confessed to having a relationship with an Argentina journalist in 2009, resulting in a divorce for his wife Jenny Sanford. He considered stepping down as governor at the time, but said he wanted to take responsibility for his actions and lead by example to his four sons. Sanford has now slammed Trump, who has said he doubted that the former president would ever considered running again. According to The New York Times, "for him to think about what's best for the republic would mean having a frontal lobotomy."
