Maria Grace Sansone (born February 26, 1981 in Erie, Pennsylvania) is an American television actress.

Sansone co-anchored Good Day Los Angeles on KTTV FOX 11 in Los Angeles until January 2017, and she is a former field reporter for WNBC 4 New York, appearing on LX New York daily.

She has appeared on programs and networks such as Access Hollywood, Extra, Extraordinary, On the Red Carpet, ABC, NBC, MTV, TV Guide Network, Yahoo!, CBS Sports, NESN, and ESPN.

Career

Sansone was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and began working in television as an 11-year-old sports reporter for WJET-TV in her home town. When she was put under contract with ABC Sports to host Wide World of Sports for Kids, a program created specifically to highlight Maria's hosting skills, she received the honor "The Youngest Reporter in the History of Network Television." In addition, she appeared on the sidelines of the Little League World Series for several seasons.

Sansone, a teenager, co-host on the game show Gladiators 2000, the children's version of American Gladiators, a term that was created in her hometown of Erie, Australia.

At the University of S.I., I was a student at the S.I. Sansone's Newhouse School concentrated on broadcasting and political science. On Live with Regis and Kelly, she co-hosted during her junior year. She began as a VJ for MTVU, where she hosted and produced programs from colleges and spring break locations around the world prior to graduating from Syracuse. In 2006, she would host Yahoo's morning web series. The 9, where she ranked down the day's most popular news, drew sketches, and interviewed celebrity guests.

Sansone went on to work at WNBC 4 New York, where she was a lifestyle reporter on LX New York, as well as hosting the nationally syndicated 1st Look on NBC. She appeared on TV Guide Network's live red carpet coverage of major award shows, which she co-hosted with Chris Harrison in addition to her regular appearance on the weekly entertainment network Hollywood 411. Sansone spent many years co-hosting Good Day Los Angeles' morning news show, alongside Steve Edwards. She hosted 20 hours of live television per week at Fox 11, including interviews with Hollywood celebrities and covering breaking news.
