Marc Craig Cohn (born July 5, 1959) is an American folk rock singer and guitarist.

Zachary (born January 31, 2003) and Samuel (born August 16, 2006) have two sons. In 2014, Cohn and Vargas divorced, only days after Vargas came out of rehab for alcoholism for the third time.
Cohn was shot in the head after an attempted carjacking in Denver, Colorado, while on a concert tour with Suzanne Vega on August 7, 2005. The bullet "barely avoided Cohn's eye and lodged near his skull." Cohn lived and was hospitalized for observation, but after eight hours, he was released. "Doctors told me I was the luckiest unlucky guy they had ever seen in a long, long time," Cohn said. "I can't tell you how he survived," a police spokesperson explained, "I can't tell you how he survived." The shooter received a 36-year prison term for his crimes.
