Mandip Kaur Gill (born 5 January 1988) is an English actor from Yorkshire.

Early life
Gill was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, on January 5, 1988. She is of Indian origin and a Sikh. She spent time in a government estate in Middleton, where her parents owned a newsagent, before enrolling in Cockburn School. At fourteen, her family moved to Allerton Bywater, where she attended Brigshaw High School. She earned a BA (Hons) in Acting from the University of Central Lancashire in 2009. She studied Performing Arts at Park Lane College.
Career
Gill appeared in various theatre productions before being cast in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks as Phoebe Jackson (later McQueen). Gill had attended a number of auditions for the soap in the past, and she was uncertain if the Phoebe's character was right for her, but after a number of callbacks, she was given the role. Phoebe was introduced as a homeless adolescent and a mentor for well-known character George Smith (Steven Roberts). Gill left the program in 2015, and Phoebe was killed off as part of the long-running "Gloved Hand Killer" storyline. Gill appeared in Doctors for a five-episo arc over the next year. Gill played Shazia Amin, a homeless woman in the United States. Gill appeared in The Good Karma Hospital in 2017 as well as an episode of Casualty. Talia, a junior registrar, appeared in Kay Mellor's BBC drama Love, Lies and Records as Talia.
Gill had been cast in the eleventh series of Doctor Who as a companion to the Thirteenth Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker, beginning in 2018. Tosin Cole, another of the Doctor's companions, joined Gill in a visit to Hollyoaks. Gill continued to appear in the twelfth and thirteenth series, as well as a slew of specials that were broadcast in 2022.
Gill made her West End theatre debut in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story in May 2022.
