Khan was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, on February 11, 1988. She is of Pakistani descent and is of the English language. Khan appeared in National Youth Theatre from the age of 17. Nina Chopra, a receptionist on BBC medical soap opera Doctors, made her television debut in 2011. Khan made her first appearance as Alya Nazir in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street in June 2014. She has remained a regular on the show ever since. In 2015, Khan received a nomination for Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards. Khan was confirmed to be appearing in the eighteenth series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Khan was the third celebrity to be voted out on December 3, 2018.
