Magnus Rosen Life

Klas Magnus Rosén was born 1963 in Gothenburg and is best known for his role as the bassist of the Swedish band HammerFall from 1997-2007. * He had been playing bass for three years when he first joined the band Kung Sune for his first tour. * After the tour, he travelled to Los Angeles, where he performed in many bands, including Billionaires Boys Club, where future HammerFall bandmate Anders Johansson played drums. * He first became a member of the Swedish heavy metal band HammerFall in 1997. Magnus is a solo bassist who has released several albums of solo recordings. * He does solo tours in South America, where he donates the proceeds to charity. Magnus, Stefan Elmgren, Anders Johansson, and Patrik Räfling redirected Hammerfall's attention away from their own projects in 2008. Big Swede, Andy LaRocque, Reeves Gabels, and Nils K. Rue were among the team members. Magnus and ex-Stratovarius guitarist Timo Tolkki's new band Revolution Renaissance joined ex Black Sabbath vocalist Tony Martin's Headless Cross on November 1, 2009 together. The band appeared at The Asylum in Birmingham, UK, on July 27, 2012. * The performance was shot on a live DVD and is intended as a warm-up for a complete tour in 2013. Rosén was announced as the new bassist for Brazilian heavy metal band Shadowside in 2015. *In 2017, he joined Spanish band AvalanchRosén, as well as Göran Edman, Henrik Zetterlund, and Dennis Heltorp, who performed with him on a Scandinavium tour.
