Maegan Chant (born 19 April 1997) is a Canadian artistic gymnast.

She was a member of the Canadian team at the 2013 and 2014 World Championships as well as the 2015 Pan American Games.

She now competes for the Florida Gators women's gymnastics team.

Maegan Chant Career

Career

Chant finished bronze on vault in 2013, her first year as a senior, winning her a spot on the Canadian Gymnastics Championships. She also earned a silver on vault at the Vendespace World Cup, as well as a gold in floor exercises and a bronze on vault at the Cottbus Challenge Cup.

Chant took silver at the Canadian Gymnastics Championships in 2014 in both vault and floor exercises. She competed for bronze on the Canadian team at the 2014 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships, where the team competed for silver. She also placed bronze in the vault competition. Chant was also a member of the Canadian 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships team.

Chant won silver on floor exercise at the Canadian Gymnastics Championships in 2015. She was a member of the Canadian silver winning team at the 2015 Pan American Games.

Chant finished eighth at the Canadian Gymnastics Championships in 2016 and was selected for the 2016 Canadian Olympic National Selection Camp. On day 1 and 9, she ranked eighth and ninth, not chosen for the team.
