Luke Jackson (born in Hobart, Tasmania) is a professional Australian boxer with a current record of 19-1 (8KOs).
Jackson began working in 2013 and is now the WBA Oceania, WBO Oriental, and Australian Featherweight champion. He held a Bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and was a former Australian Institute of Sport boxing scholarship holder.
He was named Team Captain for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and represented Australia in the lightweight category of the 2012 Summer Olympics, once again as Team Captain. Jackson didn't pick up the gloves until the age of 18, but he demonstrated a natural talent in his first year and then winning the title in his second year.
He was selected for the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in the following year, where he earned his bronze medal.

Professional career
Luke Jackson competed against Carl Frampton for the vacant interim WBO world featherweight championship on August 18, 2018. In the eight round, Frampton dropped Jackson with a spectacular left hook to the body. At the start of the ninth round, Jackson didn't recover, and Frampton's offensive continued his march and eventually stopped Jackson from winning the match via TKO.
