He represented Brazil in the Mister World 2007 pageant in Sanya, People's Republic of China, where he finished first Runner up. He later attended the International Man 2007 tournament in Bali, Indonesia, winning the second Runner up.
Early life and education
Lucas Gil is a student at the University of Votuporanga, a Brazilian inner city near So Paulo. He earned a degree in Nutrition but changed direction as he entered and won the 2007 "Mr Brazil" beauty competition. He then went to "Mr World" where he was proclaimed first runner up and began to represent his country around the world.
Career
In addition to his successful modelling career, he is also interested in influencing others and became a co-founder of Mahamudra Brasil, which aims to bring out the best from each individual, regardless of who they are. Mister Brazil (2010) champion Jonas Sulzbach is one of the co-founders.
