Lisa Robin Kelly (March 5, 1970 – August 15, 2013) was an American actress.

She was best known for her appearance on the television show That '70s Show as Laurie Forman.

Early life

Kelly was born in Southington, Connecticut, and she was raised there and in Mooresville, North Carolina. Thomas Carl Kelly and Linda Diane (née Grimm) Kelly were her parents. In 1992, she received a BFA in acting from The Theatre School in Chicago.

Career

Kelly made her debut in the 1992 Married... with Children episode "Kelly(Bundy) Doesn't Live Here Anymore" Kelly's father died. She appeared in 1994 episodes of Silk Stalkings, the X-Files episode "Syzygy," as well as in direct-to-video and television films such as Amityville Dollhouse, Late Last Night, and the theatrical film Jawbreaker.

On That '70s Show, Kelly Forman, Eric Forman's older sister, appeared. She abruptly ended the show midway through the third season, and her character was written out of the program to "attend beauty school." She appeared in the fifth season for four episodes, but she was replaced by Christina Moore in the sixth season. "I was guilty of a drinking problem with That '70s Show, and I ran," Kelly admitted in an interview with ABC News. Following a miscarriage, Kelly attributed her alcohol use to depression.
