The Stanley Cup Finals will be decided between an underdog Florida Panthers squad and a tenacious Vegas Golden Knights squad

Many hockey fans were not expecting a second all-Sun Belt Stanley Cup Final in NHL history. Boston was the best regular season squad in the league's history going into the playoffs. They were knocked out by the worst team that made it in. Canada wished that they would win their first Stanley Cup since 1993. Rather, the Jets were quickly dismissed and the Maple Leafs and Oilers' star power was snuffed out.

Jonathan Marchessault scored twice to lead the visiting Vegas Golden Knights to a landslide in their Western Conference second-round playoff series on Monday. The Golden Knights, who recovered starting goaltender Laurent Brossoit due to a lower-body injury midway through the first period, now have a 2-1 edge in the best-of-seven series. Jack Eichel scored one goal and two assists, while Zach Whitecloud and Chandler Stephenson scored for the Golden Knights, who scored five unanswered goals.
Morgan Barron of the Winnipeg Jets needed 75 stitches after taking a blade to the face and going on!

Morgan Barron, a Winnipeg Jets forward, stepped on a skate to his face during a scrum in front of the net and then skated off the ice in Las Vegas on Tuesday night. Barron was back on the ice less than a week later after receiving a total of 75 stitches in the locker room, and that this was during the NHL playoffs. Chandler Stephenson pushed Barron into Brossoit's skate, which put him on the ride side of his face, near his eye, as players fell down as Golden Knights goaltender Laurent Brossoit scrambled to keep a rebound out of the net nine minutes into the game.
