Lauren Mote (born 16 June 1997) is a British actress best known for voice-acting roles such as Lizzy in the 2010 Disney animated film Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue.

She shifted to voicing characters in video games in her teens, and she has appeared in several BBC Radio 4 drama series, as well as some live-acting television and stage performances.

Mote was born in Sunderland on February 10th, 1997. She attended Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in the city of five years. After being accepted into the Sylvia Young Theatre School, Mote and her family moved to London in 2007.

Career

Following an open audition in 2008, Mote earned the leading role in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, part of an animated Disney film starring Tinker Bell the fairy from Peter Pan.

The 2009 BBC Radio 4 serial Matilda, based on Roald Dahl's book in which she played the leading role of a five-year-old Matilda, was among Mote's other notable contributions. She appeared in the BBC Radio 4 Afternoon Letters, a television show based in April 2010, and she appeared in the musical Oliver! In 2008 and 2009, the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, in London's West End, was on display. In the BBC Radio 4 Extra dramatization of Alice Through the Looking Glass in 2011, Mote played Harmony Parker. In the first two episodes of Tracy Beaker Returns' third series, she portrayed Lizanne.

In the 2013 English Language version of Level 5 and Studio Ghibli's Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Mote voiced Esther and Myrtle.
