Early life
Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto were both born and raised in the United States, and she has siblings from both her parents' lives. She is a member of the Barretto clan, a prominent entertainment family that includes actresses Claudine Barretto and Gretchen Barretto. She graduated from high school at St. Paul College in Quezon City in March 2011 (Grades 1 to 7) and was a member of the Phoenix Valley Girls (Grades 1 to 7) in Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
Career
After being cast in ABS-CBN's Kokey, where she appeared in Anna Calugdan's lead role, Barretto came to fame. Together with Janella Salvador, Liza Soberano, Kit Thompson, and Khalil Ramos, three of her batchmates, the latter returned to showbiz as part of the Star Magic Circle in 2013. She forthwith appeared in the Mirabella (TV series), which culminated in her subsequent success in top-rated films and series. Barretto was matched with several actors in a loveteam throughout her acting career. To name a few, Enrique Gil, Irgo Pascual, and Joshua Garcia are just a few of the examples. Liza Soberano, Janella Salvador, and Kathryn Bernardo were among the Asap It Girls at one point.
