Early life

Howard grew up in Loveland, Colorado. He has worked in both film and television. Jamie Lee Curtis, Skeletons with Ron Silver, Orange County, and The Paper Brigade are among his film credits. He's been involved with a Coca Cola commercial with talking ice cubes that are eager to be soaked in cola.

Career

On the TBS original film My Boys, Howard played Bobby Newman. Love Boat: The Next Wave, Grosse Pointe, and Run of the House were among Howard's previous television appearances. In Apartment 23, he has appeared in CSI, Home Improvement, Chicago Hope, What I Like About You, The Drew Carey Show, Numbers, 8 Simple Rules, Fist, Nip/Tuck, and Don't Trust the B--- In 1999, he portrayed Dickey in Baby Geniuses.

Howard starred alongside Milo Ventimiglia and Chris Evans as one of three boys in an all-girls school in Opposite Sex on Fox's summer 2000 schedule. After 8 episodes, the program was cancelled.

Howard will appear in the forthcoming television series Perfect Couples, which is expected to premiere in May 2010. The half-hour romantic comedy was supposed to premiere in the 2010–11 television season. However, on July 1, 2010, Deadline.com announced that Kyle Bornheimer had been swapped for Dave due to TBS' decision to see how the fourth season of My Boys pended before it was renewed or cancelled. Two months later, it was cancelled.
