Early life
In Akim Oda, Ghana, Kuami Eugene was born to Alex and Juliana Marfo. He began singing in the church at a young age, where he learned how to play the drum, keyboard, and guitar. He attended Salvation Army Senior High School in Akim-Wenchi. The young artiste, who grew up in Fadama's suburbs, concentrated his studies at Ghana Telecom University.
Music career
Kuami Eugene was a contestant on season 5 of MTN Hitmaker in Ghana, where he came in third overall. He was signed shortly after to Lynx Entertainment and has since released many singles. "Angela" debuted on YouTube in 2017, the most for any music artist on the label, and was said to be in rotation among Ghana's top ten songs. In DJ Vyrusky and Shatta Wale's "Adwenfi" [1], he is a featured artist. In 2018, he released "Confusion" as a continuation of the story line in the "Angela" song. In June 2018, he released the single "Wish Me Well," in reaction to the sarcastic remarks he received on social media.
On the 25th of December, he appeared in Sarkodie's Rapperholic Concert in Ghana. The 2017 Ghana Music Awards in December 2017 - The 61st Ghana Independence Celebration Show at Indigo 02 in London was held in December 2017. Kuami Eugene has performed on several more stages, from Oh My Festival in Amsterdam, Afrobeats, to the World concert at the PlayStation Theatre in New York and Afronation in Ghana.
