Kenya Howard-Bell (born April 2, 1977) is an American R&B singer, beauty pageant champion, engineer, model, and reality television star who appears on VH1's reality show Basketball Wives.

Early life
Bell was born in Detroit, Michigan. She is the niece of William Howard, a pastor, and Vergie Howard, a registered nurse. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA. Bell spent time as an engineer for GM after graduating.
Personal life
Bell was married to NBA player Charlie Bell until 2012. Casey and Charlie IV had two children together, and they had two girls together. In May 2011, she was arrested with a box cutter at their house in the presence of their children. Kenya was awarded about half of her husband's past and future NBA salaries as part of his divorce deal.
Entertainment career
Bell was first introduced to the entertainment industry as a model, appearing in advertisements for Ford Motor Company, Bally's, The Essence Festival, and Torrence's House of Fashion. Bell continued her modeling career as a beauty queen, and at the age of 24 years, she was named Miss Michigan USA 2001. Bell continued to compete for Miss USA 2001, winning the national beauty competition as a semi-finalist.
Bell, the wife of a professional basketball player, was keen on charity causes and was featured on E! Basketball Wives: A true Hollywood tale. Following her appearance on the television special, Shed Media USA approached her to appear as a series regular on VH1's reality show Basketball Wives.
Bell made her debut as a series regular on the fourth season premiere of Basketball Wives on February 20, 2012 to a following of 3.7 million viewers. Evelyn Lozada contacted Bell on April 2, 2012, discussing some remarks she had made about her during a previous chat, in particular, trying to convince Bell to say the word "loose" refers to her. The altercation continued to grow to a point where Lozada attempted to physically assault Bell and threw a champagne bottle at her. Producers stepped in to arrest Lozada, causing Bell to scream: "Why y'all take me all the fucking time?" she cried out. Bell was saved from the situation by Tami Roman, who took him out of the room. Bell also released a song named "Hate Me" (which "seems to be directed at her reality TV co-stars." Lozada had said she was embarrassed by the way she treated others in the car, and she had been telling Iyanla Vanzant's earlier report that Lozada "being a THUG among women" and being a THUG among women.
Bell signed a C3K Records label in November 2012 and her album "Hate Me" was released on December 11, 2012.
