Ryan Dunn Life

Ryan Matthew Dunn (June 11, 1977 – June 20, 2011) was an American stunt performer, comedian, writer, and guitarist, as well as one of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass' stars. Dunn became well-known in the late 1990s as a member of the CKY Crew with his longtime friend, Bam Margera, for their dramatic stunts and pranks that culminated in the rise of Jackass.

Dunn has produced Homewrecker and Proving Ground, as well as in Margera's films Haggard and Minghags.

Dunn was killed in a car accident in 2011.

Early life

Dunn was born in Medina, Ohio. He grew up in Williamsville, New York, before moving to West Chester, Pennsylvania, where he met fellow Jackass star Bam Margera on the first day of school.

Personal life

He was in a long-term relationship with Angie Cuturic, who was a part of Margera's directorial debut Haggard: The Movie and later Minghags, from 2002 to his death. Dunn had multiple tattoos of Cuturic, including in his inner arm and left ring finger.

Dunn was hurt in one of his final scenes, in which he and co-star Bam Margera are pulled out of a shot by a wire tied around their feet during filming of Jackass Number Two in 2006. Dunn fell straight onto his shoulder, causing muscle damage and leading to a blood clot that was once life-threatening due to its proximity to his heart and brain. Dunn became depressed after receiving Lyme disease treatment, and others for almost two years, and he did not attend any subsequent events connected to the films and series. He soon returned to the Jackass cast and Jackass 3.5 years later, saying he was keen to rejoin the cast and had more fun doing Jackass 3D than any previous film endeavors.
