Kenny Allstar (born 19 April 1993) is a British DJ and radio presenter who grew up in South East London.
He made a name for himself on Radar, Reprezent, and BBC 1Xtra, making him a leading broadcaster and key gatekeeper for London's underground hip culture. Through his popular Mad About Bars channel on YouTube, where he hosts freestyle videos with local MCs. He began to play guitar early in life.
With no television in the house, he recalls listening to the radio day and night, determined to play along to 50 Cents on his keyboard as early as six years old. When his father took him to a carnival when he was nine or ten, he was inspired to dedicate his life to music.
He joined a youth club near his high school, where aspiring MCs could be able to be on the air.
At that time, Grime was a hit, and each aspiring MC would pay £2 to rap for eight bars.
He soon decided that MCing wasn't for him and started DJing at the local underground online grime station.
