Kelly Perine (born March 23, 1969) is an American television actor, writer, director, producer, and comedian.
Perine attended Lake Forest Academy near Chicago, Illinois, where he studied stage acting.
He spent his undergraduate years at Pomona College in Claremont, California.
After graduating, he studied at the University of California, Irvine where he received his master's degree in Drama.
Career
Perine is a veteran of more than 25 years in Hollywood. A majority of his jobs have been comedies or comedic in nature. Perine appeared in Between Brothers as weatherman Dustin "Dusty" Q. Canyon, Kelly Peterson on the fifth and final season of The Parent 'Hood, and car salesman Duane Odell Knox in One on One from seasons 1 to 4. He appeared in MyNetworkTV's Under One Roof (2008-09), in which he appeared as Winston Hill opposite Flavor Flav.
In Bram Stoker's Legend of the Mummy (1998), he portrayed Kurt in comedy Trial and Error (1997) and Keene (1998). Perine has appeared in several independent films, including Convincing Clooney, in which he appeared in Disco.
Perine began appearing in several Nickelodeon films, including Uncle Charlie in Christmas film Santa Hunters and the recurring role of Principal Platt in the short-lived comedy series Legendary Dudas, as both Uncle Charlie in Christmas film Santa Hunters and Principal Platt on short-lived comedic series Legendary Dudas.
