With each mysterious death, Thomas' bank account skyrocketed as he had taken out hefty life insurance policies on the women he vowed to love him until their passing breath, however, when their hearts stopped beating, the 69-year-old seemed to be the only one who benefited. The Nevada-native entered cop's radar after his sixth wife, Sharon Causse, died during a staged home invasion in 2008.

The Investigation Discovery series The Black Widower: The Six Wives of Thomas Randolph will stream on Max from July 16. The episodes delve into whether Randolph is a calculated killer or simply unlucky; with each death leaving him without a wife - but hundreds of dollars richer thanks to multiple life insurances policies paid out.
