Career
At a young age, McDermitt began his career in entertainment by appearing in a local radio show in Phoenix, Tim & Willy. McDermitt kept listeners and Tim & Willy amused by calling in on a regular basis, under the disguise of different voices. He started working with them as a producer not long afterward, and they were soon followed by KNIX and KMLE.
In the fourth season of Last Comic Standing, McDermitt was a semi-finalist. Larry was the protagonist in the 2009 television film Rehab for Rejects.
