Borussia Dortmund scored from the penalty spot and saw it overturned in absurd circumstances after a VAR review against Borussia Monchengladbach.  Edin Terzic's men were leading 2-1 at Borussia-Park as they attempted to get back to winning follow back-to-back defeats and keep pace with RB Leipzig in the race for Champions League football.  They had the chance to gain a two-goal lead minutes after the break when they were awarded a penalty as  Jonas Omlin was deemed to have brought down Karim Adeyemi.
