After winning the third series of BBC 2 reality competition The Great British Bake Off is a chef and food writer who first came to fame after winning the third series. He's since been the resident chef on Lorraine Kelly's ITV talk show Lorraine, as well as the cookbooks John Whaite Bakes and John Whaite Bakes At Home.

Before Fame

He obtained a law degree from the University of Manchester before beginning his culinary career. However, after starting to excel in the food industry, he went on to study at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu.

In 2015, he opened the Whaite's Kitchen Cookery School in Lancashire, England.
