Although the couple were unable to return from their positions in January 2020, three teachers were assaulted and four fights broke out among pupils at Wolverhampton's understaffed Northern House School. Michela Hall, 42, worked at the specialist Lincoln House School, a care home for boys aged 11-18 who had been victims or perpetrators of sexual offenses in Burnley, Lancashire, from May to September 2019. Ms Hall was seen sipping from a Gregg's coffee cup that smelled of alcohol on July 3, 2019. The panel featured photos taken by a witness of empty wine bottles and the coffee cup containing "the remains of red liquid." They also learned that Ms Hall locked herself in a room with a pupil the next day before pulling at their clothes. She was later seen'strolling around with them.' Ms Hall, a teacher for more than 20 years, rode one of the pupil's bikes but was intoxicated to ride it, 'too insteady.' She was asked to leave the school premises but refused to do so. She later admitted to being intoxicated and said it was 'one stupid mistake'.
