Joseph Robert "Joey" Gase (born February 8, 1993) is an American professional stock car racer.

He drives the No. 2 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and now competes full time. The Nose is driven by 35 Toyota Supra for MBM Motorsports and part-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

MBM Motorsports and the No. 66 Toyota Camrys are available in 46 and 66. Rick Ware Racing's 53 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is his 53.

Early career and personal life

In 2001, Gase began racing at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in the track's junior classes. In 2007, he won the track modified B championship at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway, becoming the youngest driver to do so. In 2009, he became the youngest racer to win the track's late model championship at Hawkeye Downs Speedway. In 2011, Gase graduated from Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids, Texas.

Mary Jo Jo Gase, Gase's mother, died after a brain aneurysm when Gase was 18 years old. Gase was named the inaugural Comcast Community Champion Award at the joint Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series banquet in 2015. Gase's award was given in recognition of his mother, who's organ donation program aided 66 people after her death.

Joey Gase ripped off his front bumper after his vehicle was wrecked and threw it at rival Dawson Crum's windshield during Saturday's NASCAR ToyotaCare 250. Crum drove his car into the Gase's bumper, spinning him out into the wall and totaling his No. 35 Chevrolet, when Crum sacked it out of control.
