He has released six albums of stand-up comedy, two comedy specials, six installments of the Terrorizing Telemarketers prank call compilation, and three installments of the Meet the Creeps hidden camera exhibition.

Early life

He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 18, 1964, to a large Catholic family; he has six brothers and sisters. He began his career in comedy clubs in New York City.

Personal life

Florentine is a native of central New Jersey. He came from a large Catholic family and was one of seven children to attend the Catholic school St Ambrose. In various interviews and in his stand-up act, he has admitted that he disliked his religious upbringing. Florentine's interest in musical performance was on the rise due to his love of heavy metal music, but he'd often say he never had the ability to play an instrument.

Florentine worked in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where his father planned to start a family-run hot dog vending company. The company, on the other hand, was unsuccessful, and the family migrated back to New Jersey. Florentine was in and out of jail in his late teens and had heroin and alcohol use. He has said that his obsession with hard rock music led him on a rocky path in life. Florentine was later a DJ on his college radio station in Hazlet, New Jersey, WCNJ. After seeing Andrew Dice Clay for the first time on a Rodney Dangerfield Comedy special, he wished to work in stand-up comedy. He would often joke on air that marriage and kids were not for him. In December 2006, his mother of six years committed suicide. When Jim Florentine, a guest on the Howard Stern Show, asked co-host Robin Quivers to join him on a date during a show segment in August 2007. Quivers became more aware of the situation because of the media's ferocious, Quivers became tense about it. Quivers revealed on the radio show that they had broken up with Florentine on July 28, 2008. Florentine was "genuine and honest," she said, and that he was the one who started the break up.

Samantha Warner, a lacrosse coach, was married to her from 2012 to 2015.

CANCELS, a Seattle comedy troupe, produced four comics that didn't align with 'protestive values,' according to Woke's CANCELS four comics

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 3, 2024
The Seattle comedy bar, Capitol Hill Comedy Bar, has pulled four comedians, including Jim Florentine, because their comedy was not aligned with "prosecute values." Florentine, who is known for his edgy style, claims that his outspokenness on controversial topics led to the snub. The decision was made based on community rumors that the show was not "not aligning with the neighborhood's values," according to the club's booker. Florentine found the explanation amusing and predicted the club's demise.
