Career

Jennifer DiNoia was born (and raised) in Meriden, Connecticut, on February 23, 1982. She started dancing at the age of 3, and at six years old, she participated in a national tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I. She continued to dance and sing through her youth and then enrolled in Point Park University in Pittsburgh, majoring in dance. DiNoia decided to move to New York City in search of stage work, mainly as a dancer after doing a summer internship at the Broadway Dance Center.

Joules Simeone Stassi is Jennifer's daughter. Joules was born on November 10, 2015, via a caesarean section.

When she was cast on the USA national tour of Mamma Mia!, DiNoia's first professional recognition came as she was cast on the first national tour of Mamma Mia! She appeared in the film as well as providing support for Ali's character. DiNoia took her first formal singing lessons while on tour in 2003 after hearing "Defying Gravity," the classical song from the recently released musical Wicked. DiNoia appeared in the original American cast as part of the ensemble's production in Las Vegas and later as understudy for lead role Scaramouche in the summer of 2004.
