Career
Lynch spent 15 years in Chicago, appearing in the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and was one of only two women selected to attend The Second City comedy troupe at the time of her audition. In the theater's The Real Live Brady Bunch, she continued to hone her comedy and improvisational abilities. In the New York shows, Andy Richter played Mike Brady. He and Lynch became a good friend.
Lynch got her start in films in 1988, appearing in a small role in the film Vice Versa. In 1993, she served as a doctor alongside Harrison Ford in The Fugitive. In Fatal Instinct, she appeared in the same year as a reporter.
