Prosecutors pleaded with the music by Karl Jordan Jr., who rapped under the alias 'Yadi' or "Young Yadi', during the four-week trial. A judge found that 'Jordan's lyrics do not mention Mizell, the recording studio in which Mizell was killed, the other shooting victim, or any suspected accomplices.' 'Nor does the government claim that Jordan wrote or performed these songs at the time of the suspected murder.' In Brooklyn federal court, Jordan and Ronald Washington are on trial for the 2002 bombing.
