An inquest heard how people were running away from the park but thought they were 'playing some sort of game.' In less than a minute, history teacher James Furlong, 36, Joe Ritchie-Bennett, 39, and scientist David Wails, 49, were killed in Forbury Gardens by Libyan refugee Khairi Saadallah (inset) who yelled 'Allahu akhbar' as he knifed them in June 2020. An inquiry into their deaths began yesterday and found that Saadallah was seen giving money to charity to 'cleanse and prepare himself for jihad' before stabbing the trio. As two of Saadallah's victims lay bleeding on the ground, eyewitness James Antell, a certified first-aider who was in the park when the assault took place, shared how he desperately tried to save their lives. He told the inquest that he saw ten people running around in various directions, but first he believed they were 'playing some sort of game.' Andre Longmore, 40, was killed in a manhunt on Sunday afternoon. A Henry County deputy and a Clayton County police officer were both wounded, but the officer is said to be conscious. Longmore reportedly opened fire on residents in Hampton's Dogwood Lakes neighborhood, killing three men and one woman before he went on the road on Saturday.
