Caspar Richard George Lee (born 24 April 1994) is a British-South African YouTube personality, vlogger, actor and entrepreneur.
Personal life
Born in London, Lee is the son of TV commercial producers Emily Lee (née Murphy, b. 1956) and Jonathan Lee (b. 1955). Lee's elder sister is author and advertising creator Theodora Lee (b. 1991). The family emigrated to South Africa in 1996. Lee was raised in Knysna and Durban, where he attended Crawford College, La Lucia. When Caspar was younger he was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome. Lee moved from South Africa to live with Alfie Deyes until 2014, before moving to a shared apartment in London with fellow YouTuber Joe Sugg until 2016, when he relocated to a shared apartment with Josh Pieters, also a YouTuber.
Career
Lee's first YouTube channel 'dicasp' began in 2011 and was later renamed 'Caspar'. Lee was a member of the 'YouTube Boyband,' which raised funds for Comic Relief in 2014.He was named by Yahoo!
