On ITV1, a dramatic new crime series will be available accompanied by a star-studded cast of familiar faces. Six Four first premiered on ITVX in March, but the mind-bending film will make its debut on the small screen at 9 p.m. tonight, just in time for some exciting viewing as the chilly nights draw in. Six Four is based on Hideo Yokoyama's best-selling titular book, with the main action set in Glasgow. The story of kidnap, treason, betrayal, and an unwavering search for the truth begins when DC Chris O'Neill, whose daughter is missing, is contacted by a journalist about a cold case involving another missing child. The four-part series, which will be available to watch every Sunday over the next few weeks, is host to an all-star cast of renowned actors and actresses - but who are they and who do they play in the drama?

Researchers want to get 'witness statements' from anyone interested in the show's 28-year run, whether they were extras, consultants, or dead bodies, as they begin to build an archive of the iconic program's influence on crime fiction. Detectives are hoping that witnesses will bring "corroborating evidence" - mementoes from their time on the show - or even memorabilia - to donate to a vast repository of the event's history. Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) has collaborated with Taggart actor and honorary graduate Dr Blythe Duff (main picture, far right) to provide the warrant for the show's unsung heroes ahead of three days of drop-in sessions next month.

Charlie Mullins, the British Curry Awards' chief, is accused of delivering a 'racist' joke. Dr Ranj Singh described him as saying: 'Why has India never won the World Cup? They get a corner every time, so they build a store on it.' Mullins said this afternoon: "I was really honored to be a guest at the British Curry Awards, and I had a wonderful evening with a group of like-minded hardworking entrepreneurs doing excellent work for charity.' I didn't mean to offend someone with anything I said, and if I did, I regret it.'
