Years after her son was diagnosed with schizophrenia following his appearance in The Phantom Menace in 1999, actor Jake Lloyd's mother revealed that he now is in a mental health center. He didn't tell us he was hearing voices at the time.' However, he wasn't there. In a recent interview with Scripps News, his mother Lisa said that finally telling him brought him right off the edge into a much worse depression. Lloyd, who is now 35, said in a 2012 interview that the job he played when he was ten years old made his childhood hellish because he was mocked by other children.
