Yankees: Cameraman Pete Stendel is 'resting at home after suffering an orbital fracture'

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 6, 2023
Since suffering an orbital fracture, the cameraman who was hospitalized after being struck in the head by an ineffective baseball throw is now resting at home. During the game between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, Pete Stendel, a member of YES Network, had to be carted out of the field. On Thursday afternoon, the network gave an update on his health, announcing that he had left the hospital after suffering a fracture.

After umpires reversed foul ball ruling, Yankees manager Aaron Boone was dismissed in the 1st inning

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 21, 2023
In the first inning of New York's game against the Cincinnati Reds, Aaron Boone was suspended from his team's game against the Cincinnati Reds after an overturned foul ball call. Spencer Steer of Cincinnati flared a ball down the first base line with Reds Jonathan India on first base. Jake Bauers, a right fielder, raced over to make a play on the ball but only for it to pop out of his glove. As it fell to his team, his bobbling attempts to corral the ball were in vain.
