Early life

Ituo was born in Basauri on June 18, 1974. She trained at the Basauri Theater School and then graduated in urban-industrial and political sociology from the University of the Basque Country.

Career

Ituo's first appearance in the Basque film Agur Olentzero, agur, released in 1997 (Goodbye Olentzero, Goodbye) was released in 1997.

She appeared in the soap opera Goenkale in 2001. Nekane Beitia, a bisexual policewoman from Arralde's fictional village, was the protagonist in this television series. She appeared on the program until 2015, when it was canceled. This position raised her profile in the Basque Country.

Loreak continued to perform as an actress, appearing in the films Loreak (Spanish submission to the Academy Awards) and Igelak, which were released in 2015 and 2016 respectively. In 2017, she appeared in the television series La casa de papel (broadcast on Antena 3 and later acquired by Netflix) as Raquel Murillo, a police inspector.

She appears in films, television, and theater roles, as well as a member of three other bands, Dangiliske, EZ3, and INGOT.

For the 64th edition of the San Sebastian International Film Festival, she was a presenter of the Basque Film Gala and the EITB Gala on September 26, 2017.

Ituo will make her English language debut in the British animated short film Salvation Has No Name, which is set to be released in 2020.
