THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KEEP IT REAL. Amen. It’s hard to believe and someone had to remind me that REAL, the second record from israelnewbreed, came out exactly 20 years ago. For what it’s worth I think it’s one of the best sounding records in our genre or any for that matter … because of the amazing tommylsims - We basically set out to do the record Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder and Andrae Crouch’s baby would make.
