After foreign media arrived in to the Great Hall of People, Hu Jintao, 79, was taken off stage shortly. As two servants helped him stand, the 79-year-old seemed marginally disorientated, firstly grasping him under his arms. As one of the officials pulled his arm, he seems to be downcast. As he was later escorted out, the official seemed to be tense to get him out of the room. There was no explanation as to why the former Chinese emperor, who served between 2003 and 2013, was ousted.

Earlier today, China boasted how its astronauts began their long-awaited space mission just hours before they even left the launch pad. The country's official news service Xinhua published an article dated September 27 – two days from now – complete with an extensive discussion between the three men aboard Shenzhou 7.
