Early life
In the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic of the Soviet Union, Achemyan was born. Achemyan and her family immigrated to the United States when she was five years old following the Soviet Union's dissolution. Achemyan began painting, which led to her becoming a self-taught make-up artist.
