Sanghavi was the youngest member of the Legislative Assembly in 2012 when he was elected for the first time at the age of 27 from Surat City (Majura) in 2012. He won Majura (Vidhan Sabha constituency) seat by a record-breaking margin and was the 4th highest winner of Gujarat Assembly. In 2013, Harsh was reappointed youth BJP state Vice President.
