After his team's League Two match against Colchester United on Saturday, Sutton United boss Steve Morison expressed his dissatisfaction with a BBC reporter. Sutton won the game 1-1 against their relegation rivals, but they missed out on a golden opportunity to guarantee what would have been a crucial three points if Harry Smith was delayed by Us stopper Owen Goodman. Sutton was left in seventh place in League Two and seven points from safety, while Morison is yet to win in nine games since taking over as boss in January.

Did any British soldiers survive both the Battle of New Orleans and The Battle of Waterloo?

ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS: Sir Henry George Wakelyn Smith (1787-1860), also known as Harry Smith, was a prime example of this. It's impossible to do his life justice or even run through all of the wars he was involved in, but the following should give you a glimpse. Smith was born in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, England's Isle of Ely. In 1805, he was posted in the elite 95th Rifles. In 1806, he was in South America for his first active service. He distinguished himself at the Battle of Montevideo in 1807, but he came to prominence during the Peninsular War. He was a boy, wet, elegant and highly developed, and he was fluent in Spanish and became indispensable to Lieutenant-General John Moore, from October 1808 to January 1809, when the British Army was evacuated at Corunna.
