Rasmus Hojlund has defended his Man United colleague Bruno Fernandes from 'unfair' criticism, following reports that the pair had fallen out. It was claimed that the Dane had fallen out with the Man United captain over a lack of service up front.  However, in a new interview, Hojlund expressed his gratitude towards Fernandes for his role in assisting the Dane's late goal in the 4-2 win over Sheffield United. 

Manchester United are believed to be planning a major squad shake-up this summer as Sir Jim Ratcliffe (right inset) and Ineos usher in a new era at Old Trafford. Coleen Rooney has shared a glimpse into her luxury mansion in Cheshire, as she shared a video of getting her carpets cleaned.  The WAG, 38, took to her Instagram on Monday to share a video of professional cleaners, Hyper Cleaning, giving her fluffy grey carpets a thorough wash. She filmed one worker scrubbing their staircase with a carpet cleaning machine in rigid diagonal lines.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe could have been forgiven for feeling exhausted on Sunday night. The 71-year-old ran the London Marathon before dashing to Wembley in time to catch the second half of the FA Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Coventry. Ratcliffe, who bought a 25 percent stake in United earlier this year, arrived at Wembley with Erik ten Hag's men 2-0 up courtesy of goals from Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire.

After a less than convincing FA Cup semi-final victory over Coventry that saw them give up a three-goal lead in the second half - Manchester United followed it up with a another frantic 4-2 win against Premier League cellar dwellers Sheffield United at home on Wednesday. Despite their wildly inconsistent performances, the Red Devils are overwhelming 1/2 favourites to win again today when they take on Burnley at Old Trafford.  Meanwhile, Vincent Kompany's side are 19/4 outsiders to secure their sixth win of the season, and a draw is priced at 19/5. 

Erik ten Hag insisted his Manchester United side were always in control of Wednesday's Premier League match against Sheffield United despite twice needing to come from behind to beat their relegation-threatened opponents 4-2. In another tumultuous Old Trafford encounter, Harry Maguire struck against his former team to cancel out Jayden Bogle's 35th-minute opener but Ben Brereton Diaz again had the rock-bottom Blades in front early in the second half. Bruno Fernandes then took over, scoring twice - once from the penalty spot - before creating another for Rasmus Hojlund.

Manchester United came from behind twice to beat strugglers Sheffield United 4-2 at Old Trafford.  Chris Wilder's struggling Blades took a shock lead through Jayden Bogle's 35th minute strike before Harry Maguire levelled the score three minutes before the break.  The visitors retook the lead when Ben Brereton Diaz scored his fifth goal in 10 matches five minutes into the second-half.

Bruno Fernandes' second goal of the night and Rasmus Hojlund first since February got them out of trouble but this was hardly stellar opposition. When Fernandes scored his first from the spot, the Blades broke Derby's record of conceding 89 goals in a 38-game Premier League season.

The Blades, bottom of the Premier League, twice took the lead through goals by Jayden Bogle and Ben Brereton Diaz.  Bruno Fernandes turned things around for Manchester United, with Harry Maguire and Rasmus Hojlund also scoring on the night.

Manchester United will be looking to improve on their FA Cup semi-final showing when they take on Sheffield United in the Premier League tonight. Although Man United progressed to the FA Cup final on penalties against Coventry, it was their capitulation in the second half - when they threw away a three-goal lead - that had club legend Roy Keane labelling them a 'Championship side'. That prompted more than a few raging United fans to make a hasty exit down Wembley Way.

They are set to spend around £250,000 on infra-red and night-vision cameras plus around-the-clock security for the duration of the tournament in Germany. Ex-special forces personnel are also being employed to guard their homes during the competition which takes place from June 14 to July 14.
