Early life
Muthukad was born on April 10th, 1964 in Kavalamukatta, a small village near Nilambur to Kunhunni Nair and Devaki Amma. He demonstrated a keen interest in magic from the beginning, after learning about Vazhakunnam, one of Kerala's greatest magicians. He was discovered doing magic in class by a teacher who later encouraged him to stage his first show at his kindergarten at the age of ten. Muthukad says this was the turning point in his life. Despite a lot of resistance from his father, over the years his determination to pursue magic as a career grew stronger.
After graduating in mathematics from N. S. College, Manjeri enrolled Law College, Bangalore, but later dropped out and moved to Thiruvananthapuram to pursue his passion in magic. Despite the fact that his early years as a magician were brimming, he began to be recognized for his unusual ways of presenting magic. He has appeared on more than 8,000 shows in India and abroad, and has brought a new vision and mission to magic.

Muthukad is married to Kavitha, and the couple has a boy, Vismay Muthukad. He and his family are settled in Thiruvananthapuram.
